A nice trip indeed in the eastern part of the chianti region, between relaxing small roads, churches, wineyards. The hills are higher and are quite mountains: the San Michele is 892 meters high and can be a little cooler in the summer than the low hills. The panorama change continuosly during the way and have the view of Panzano from Barberino and once in Panzano you have the view of Volpaia and Radda in Chianti.
